Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia is the region’s only membership association exclusively serving the philanthropic community. Through education, resources and networking, Philanthropy Network serves over 150 grantmaking organizations. Our members represent the full spectrum of grantmaking entities, including: corporations/businesses, family and independent foundations, community foundations and other grantmaking public charities, donor advised funds and individual donors. The Administrative Associate is responsible for supporting the delivery of services for Philanthropy Network across a range of functions including member services, programming and communications. The Associate will provide direct administrative and communications support to Philanthropy Network staff with a strong focus on providing a high-quality of customer satisfaction to the membership of Philanthropy Network. The Associate will be required to provide administrative support for the 50+ educational and topical events plus two signature events that Philanthropy Network executes annually for its membership as well as helping to communicate about the programs and other related topics or strategies that both inform and excite the membership.
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Monthly Program Previews
– Targeted outreach to members based on prior event attendance
– Targeted outreach to funder groups
– Updating the program calendar with Philanthropy Network events, member sponsored events, and regional/national events of interest to the field
Compensation: Philanthropy Network offers a competitive salary for this part time position which should not exceed 30 hours/ week. The Network is seeking a candidate who has some flexibility in support of the event calendar, which typically holds its programming in the morning or at mid-day.
