Collaboraction Theatre Company is seeking a Winter/Spring Arts Administration/Fundraising Intern interested in a position from December 16, 2017 through May 15, 2018. (Dates are flexible to start after Jan. 2 or end before May 15.) Collaboraction incites social change through original devised theatre and community engagement that cultivates knowledge, dialogue and action around Chicago’s most critical social issues.
The Intern will assist in a variety of areas, including strategic planning, partnerships, fundraising, researching foundations, writing grant proposals, working with donors, attending events and performances at Collaboraction, and assisting where needed. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring Director of Development/Executive Director to obtain a range of skills pertaining to administration and fundraising for a small non-profit theater.
Part-time (10-15 hours) positions available. Some daytime and some evening hours may be necessary, depending on production and event schedules. There is no pay, but great learning opportunities and the possibility of future employment. Internship may be completed for college credit.
