Kupferberg Center for the Arts is looking for an energetic and motivated Box Office Representative. The representative will be responsible for answering customer calls and working at the KCA box office window during performances. The representative will work closely with all members of staff including marketing department, front of house staff, operations manager, and booking department to ensure that orders are processed and customer needs are met.
The ideal Box Office Representative will have 1-2 years experience in a customer service or retail environment. The representative should be reliable, have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, be comfortable working with computers, and be able to balance a variety of responsibilities efficiently and accurately.
Experience with ShoWare or similar ticketing system a plus. Box office experience is not necessary, but top-notch customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure.
This position is part-time. Daytime availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday is preferred. Evening and weekend work is required.
