The Campaign Manager will spearhead the US based fundraising for Cambodian Living Arts (CLA), as part of the 5-year strategic plan 2017-2021 and supports the team of CLA at large. He/She will be in charge of the Campaign to support the tour of “Bangsokol: A Requiem for Cambodia” worldwide tour, tasked with engaging US donors and prospects, developing and executing individual and institutional fundraising strategies. Donor cultivation events are a big part of such strategies, and the Campaign Manager will be instrumental in planning as well as executing them. Some of the events will also include the coordination with local Cambodian and Asian communities, so a level of community engagement might be needed. He/She will also be in charge of organizing key donor meetings for US board members and for the CLA Executive Director during his bi-annual visits.
The Campaign Manager will report to the CLA Executive Director (based in Cambodia) and be supervised by the Strategic Development Consultant who is based in NYC. He or she will work alongside the CLA Fundraising and Development Manager, who has two coordinators reporting to him – all based in Cambodia. He/she will also closely interact with NY based CLA Board Development Committee Chair and other US based board members and key stake holders.
Requirements: Strong writing and communication skills in English and experience or interest in event planning. Prior development experience not required but preferred. Knowledge of Asian Cultures or Cambodian art forms a plus. Must be self-motivated and ready to create and follow deadlines.
