The Gershman Y, a dynamic regional center for arts and culture located in Center City Philadelphia that is informed by Jewish values and committed to appealing to diverse audiences, seeks an energetic, creative, and innovative senior level program developer to conceptualize, develop, implement, and evaluate its wide-ranging programming in visual, performing, and literary arts and culture and current topics.
The position requires three to five years of experience as a cultural arts program director, strong multi-tasking and verbal and written communication skills, a background in budget management, an ability to work independently and in team situations, and experience working with volunteers and developing community partnerships. Familiarity with Jewish arts and culture is not required but would be a plus.
This position is full-time with benefits and requires the ability to work evening and weekend hours. The position reports to the Executive Director; salary is commensurate with experience.
