Directs and coordinates the activities of the Events/Maintenance Team on all events occurring for the Apollo Theater. This includes in house programing as well as outside rentals.
This position requires a hands on self-starter who must be able to fulfill any/all departmental functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversees all events set ups associated with the Apollo Theater calendar.
Coordinates all deliveries associated with events.
Responsible for the removal and installation of theater seating
See that the theater is cleaned both before and after events
Attend weekly events meeting
Enforces policies and procedures for maintaining operational and occupational safety standards.
Must be able to troubleshoot building issues during events
Manage an events team of approximately 10 people..
Work alongside staff as needed.
3 years staff management experience
Strong communication skills
Effective organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office College degree a plus.
