Exhibition Programs Manager
Armory Center for the Arts
Assist Director of Exhibition Programs/Chief Curator in the management, coordination, and execution of all Exhibition programs and publications; coordinate lectures, panels, screenings, concerts, performances, readings, and other public events; and provide general support to related Gallery programs as requested. Supervise Gallery Attendants, Interns, and Volunteers; work closely with the Associate Curator and the Chief Preparator.
The Exhibition Programs Manager often represents the department to artists, lenders, representatives from other institutions, and other stakeholders and partners. This individual thus sets an important tone, internally and publicly, for the professionalism and competency of the department and the trust placed in it by its collaborators; a trust that is, in turn, imparted to audiences, funders, and other stakeholders.
