We have an opening for a full-time Individual Giving Assistant, who plays a critical role in donor cultivation and stewardship at the MCA by supporting administration of the Circle Donor and Director’s Vision Council levels, Trustees, the Enact affinity group, and more. Major responsibilities include coordinating the development department’s donor acknowledgment process, providing event support, acting as liaison to the MCA Affiliate groups, maintaining Individual Giving webpages (images and text), processing donor renewals, coordinating mailings (via letter and MailChimp), drafting correspondence and stewardship materials, and database maintenance. To be successful in this role, you must:
You must also have a Bachelor’s Degree and one to two years of experience working in a development office with a general understanding of individual giving practices. Other requirements include:
This is a full time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as required. Ability to operate general office equipment and to have mobility throughout museum, offices, and event spaces is required.
