The Port of San Diego is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to assist the Chief Curator in the Office of Arts & Culture.
The Office of Arts & Culture is responsible for the overall stewardship of the tidelands public art collection and for the development of dynamic arts and cultural programming for the Port of San Diego. The Office of Arts & Culture works closely with the Arts & Culture Advisory Committee to create a vibrant and innovative waterfront destination for residents and visitors to the region with activation events that enhance the visual excitement and cultural richness of Port tidelands.
The ideal candidate is an innovative team player that has strong organization, public-speaking, critical-thinking, and people-navigation skills. This person is a detailed-oriented, creative thinker with extensive program and project management proficiencies, including contract administration and budget execution experience. The ability to develop, present, implement, and manage multiple full-life-cycle projects and effectively supervise others is required. A solid background in public agency policy implementation, creative placemaking, and public engagement with diverse audiences is highly desirable.
