Requirements: The ideal Sales Associate candidate is familiar with PC’s; has the ability to learn specific retail inventory computer systems; has previous experience in a specialty retail, preferably in a bookstore or museum shop; and has flexible schedule for day, night and weekend shifts. This position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities: The Sales Associate in Merchandising is responsible for, but not limited to, operating the retail POS and managing related documentation; restocking and maintaining appearance of the shop and storage areas with light housekeeping (some lifting may be required); and providing excellent customer service at all times to school groups and other visitors to the shop.
Starting date: TBD
Schedule: 7 hours a day, 3 days per week, with some weekend hours.
